Dedicated to the memory of Julie

This site is a tribute to my darling wife Julie, who was born in Leeds on 11th May 1957 and sadly left us on 6th May 2020.

She was much loved by all her family and friends who are left heartbroken at their sudden loss.

Julie leaves behind three children, five grandchildren and extended family and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

The pain we are suffering is eased by the many happy memories that we shared together and the joy she brought to all our lives.

The funeral was held at Stonefall Cemetery, Harrogate on 5th June 2020 and a full copy of the service and Eulogy is available to view in the Journal.

Merry Christmas Mum. Wish you were here with us to celebrate. You’d love seeing the chaos of the boys opening their presents. This is the first year Heath has been really excited. Ned is happy just watching. Thanks for making Christmas such a special time for us all. I made sure I bought Christmas toilet roll just like you used to. We’re not having bacon on the turkey like you used to. Your Christmas dinner was always the best not to mention the stuffing. I wish you’d been able to relax more and enjoy it with us but we know you just wanted to make Christmas special for everyone which you did. We miss you today and always. I tell the boys that Grandma Baker’s favourite Christmas song is on the radio whenever we hear last Christmas by Wham although they’re more Michael Buble fans! I’ll raise a glass to you and Grandma later when I watch the Christmas strictly special. I hope you’re celebrating together somewhere xxxx

Another Christmas gone by without you. We’re listening to Wham! (this year’s Christmas #1!!) whilst the kids unwrap their stockings and I’m on bin bag duty collecting all the wrapping paper; learned from the best! I wish you were here to see the excitement in their faces. We miss you always and thinking about you a lot today xxx
